Humans utilized energy when they began to get heat out of sticks - what we call "fire". To some extent we have all been energy workers ever since. Some people do energy work with intent - healing, clearing space, blessing, etc. and may have studied or they may have been given a gift for doing energy work.

Energy exists in everything everywhere whether we are aware of it or not. The majority of watches and clocks are powered by quartz crystals. Studies show that prayer, even when a person is not aware of the prayers, can be beneficial. Planetary movements produce changes in the electromagnetic fields of Earth.

Story of the Mayan Crystal Essences -

He came as a new customer to Harmonious Balance. After selecting what he wanted, he said he wanted to give us a couple of crystals. He felt led to do so. His only condition was that they not be sold for less than $1,000.00 a piece. He went on to say… "these crystals are from an ancient cave in the Yucatan. I have recently awakened & I went to the Yucatan to study. My Shaman, there, directed me to this cave & said that it was time for the crystals to go about the world to help heal the planet. While in the cave I took only those crystals which easily came off in my hand." He did not have the crystals with him that day so he said he would be back. We did not see him again. He dropped the crystals off at a neighboring business on a day Harmonious Balance was closed. Examining the crystals, it was clear that one was male & the other was a pregnant female. They felt old, powerful & deeply healing. Since they seemed to have geologic properties of more than one stone, the type of stone was unclear. A few weeks later the man called & said an intuitive in Wisconsin had said that the crystals should be kept in water. He didn’t know the stone’s geology & no geologist had examined them. We placed them in water & encouraged him to get an opinion from a geologist. After a few people remarked on how wonderful the water (where the crystals soaked) was, we were encouraged by their feedback to create vibrational essences from these special crystals. Because the crystals were Male & Female, we have created a Male Essence, Female Essence & a blend of the two, which we call Balanced Essence. Spirit led us to create these using only distilled water over a lunar month from Full Moon to Full Moon.
